Chevy made a life-size Silverado pickup with Lego bricks

From the rear CornerStep to the newly designed grille, 18 builders spent over 2,000 hours to create an exact replica, full-size All-New 2019 Chevy Silverado out of LEGO® pieces in celebration of The LEGO® Movie 2: The Second Part. With 334,544 pieces, the strongest, most advanced Silverado ever is ready for even the most menacing characters. See the film only in theaters February 8.

chevrolet and LEGO have teamed up to unveil a full-size version of the 2019 silverado 1500 LT trailboss using 334,544 of the colorful bricks. eighteen specially trained master builders spent more than 2,000 hours hand-selecting and placing each piece, which has unique working lights and graphic details.

the silverado doesn’t actually work but it is a near exact replica of the full-size pickup. it weighs in at 3,307 pounds, is 6 feet high and and 8 feet wide, and even features small details like the front grill and chevrolet logos.

a custom mini-build of the silverado high country will make an appearance in the new big-screen animated adventure ‘the LEGO movie 2: the second part’ when it debuts in theaters on february 8. this isn’t the first time the two companies have teamed up for a similar cause. in 2017, they worked together to create a life-sized batmobile for the LEGO batman movie.
