Custom adventure motorcycles are a rare breed in the bespoke bike world. While one might think one-off ADV builds would be immensely popular considering the rise in scrambler style builds, the reality is a lot of adventure bikes don’t lend themselves particularly well to extensive customization. But with a little patience and creativity, these on/off-road tourers can make for fantastic customs, as evidenced by Venier Customs’ latest work, the “VX Traveler”.

the venier customs VX traveler is a custom touring motorcycle based on the cagiva gran canyon 900 from 1999. predecessor of the ducati multistrada and the evolution of the classic cagiva elefant 900 parigi dakar winner, the donor motorcycle mounts a marzocchi 45 mm front fork, sachs rear shock and a very capable nissin braking system improved with rotors by braking. the frame is incredibly agile and fun to ride, and the best thing is the ducati 900 ss fuel injected engine that is the heart of the build.
